Primoz Roglic, Tadej Pogacar
The 2025 season is over and history has been made. UAE Team Emirates - XRG has won 97 races this year, surpassing all the previous established records and setting a new benchmark due to the many wins of Tadej Pogacar, Isaac del Toro, João Almeida, Juan Ayuso, etc. Now we take a look at all World Tour teams and how much they've won, including as low as four wins in an entire year.
Pogacar himself alone took 20 wins, 19 of them at World Tour level this year, which would in itself place him in 9th place in the list - if the calculations were to be done regarding UCI points, the result would surely be similar. UAE won 97 races this year and there was never a comparison between it or any other structure. Soudal - Quick-Step came i second with 54, a still rather impressive number because in terms of World Tour points it was nowhere near the same position. This was much due to Paul Magnier and Tim Merlier's vast sprint success, which accounts for over half the victories.
Lidl-Trek (46) and Team Visma | Lease a Bike (40) follow in third and fourth, having been the second and third most successful teams of the year in overall results. XDS Astana Team closes the Top5 with 32 wins in 2025; whilst INEOS Grenadiers, Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team and Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe are the only other teams that have had more victories than Pogacar.
Team Jayco AlUla and Alpecin-Deceuninck, the team of Mathieu van der Poel and Jasper Philipsen, did not. Groupama - FDJ had 15 and everyone else was on the 10 or below. This means EF Education-EasyPost, Movistar Team, Cofidis, Arkéa - B&B Hotels and Bahrain - Victorious.
But a level below all of those still were Team Picnic PostNL and Intermarché - Wanty, who have each won four races this year. In Intermarché's case, there was not a single World Tour or even .Pro level win, whilst Biniam Girmay also failed to raise his arms this year. That is part of the reason for the Lotto-Intermarché merger. Intermarché and Arkéa were the only two teams that failed to win at World Tour level this year.
