At the risk of sounding like the resident Remco hater/Pog stan - I feel like Remco's insistence on double arm stripes for WC and OC says a lot about his perspective on himself. It's all a bit "look at me" for my liking.

As much as I don't like shots or blood draws, hearing about the blood transfusions is what always really makes my skin crawl.

If Matthew Brennan had not been ill, it'd have been completely different. After what he did at Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne... I think it's safe to say Alpecin-deceuninck wouldn't have been so confident with Philipsen. Van der Poel would've been a greater threat for the win. I hope Jamie recovers, he's a super exciting rider and everyone wants to see what he can do.

So what exactly would they have done differently had they known? APT wasn't chasing and MVdP covered Wout's move. Does it really matter whether Jasper winning the sprint was plan A or plan B? The tactics by APT were executed perfectly.

OK, the Itzulia Basque Country it is. Seixes and Del Toro will fight it out...for a six-pack of Heineken.
